about

This is my Ultima VII soundtrack remake project. This took about a year to complete.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
USING THIS SOUNDTRACK IN THE EXULT ENGINE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It's possible to use this soundtrack in the Exult engine. After purchasing, you can download this soundtrack as OGG files, then rename each file to the supplied code in each song's title between the ( parenthesis ).

For instance, the first song's title on this album is:

Black Gate Bootup (00BG)

You need to rename the OGG file to:

00BG.OGG

Yes, it's tedious to do this, but if you really want to use this soundtrack in the game, it must be done this way. Maybe some day the Exult developers can make custom song naming a possibility.

After renaming all of the files to the proper codes, you have to put all of them into the correct music folder for the game. It's different for every operating system, so look through the help files for Exult to find the right place to put the files.

This soundtrack does not supply any of the ambient tracks, like ocean waves, wind blowing, and rain falling noises. Exult will most likely default to the MIDI files in the game if it cannot find these tracks as OGG files.

I do not offer any support for using Exult, or using this soundtrack with Exult. That information goes beyond my knowledge. Contact the developers of Exult for support.
